Amazing thread to get a good film playlist going!

DirtyvDancing’s ending has got to have one of the best “feel-good” endings in all of film-making history. Gonna play just the end scene on Youtube now to gimme a boost.

The 6th sense and Inception were two films which I went back to the cinema twice to see.

The twist in 6th sense is fantastic once you watch the film again. Probably more a clever ending much like Shutter Island.

Inception is one of those cinematic experiences where you know you’re watching greatness but also don’t fully have a clue what’s going on! Watching it the second time round confirmed how amazing it was and it ending as it did was perfect.

Anyway, there are loads like Shawshank, Ghost, Truman Show, Dirty Dancing but the ending of Point Break is the best ending ever…

I like the end of 1st blood, some decent acting by stallone.

Also shawshank, as mentioned.

The end of robocop is good too.."murphy.."

The end of the kite runner, 'For you, a thousand times over'..gets me in the feels..

Some other mentions that are powerful-

"The reader"

"Shindlers list'

"Anvil the story of anvil'

'Stand my me'

'Battle of 5 armies'

'Return of the king'

"Dirty rotten scoundrels'

Also, 'the life of pi'..& the end of 'lion', based on a true story, when it cuts from the actors to the real people it's based on.

Could go on
