Somewhere In The Ether…

"for me it is Kurt Barlow (Salem's Lot.still scares me even now."

And the VERY sudden reveal of the bugger in the jail cell! 😬😱😱

I watched the original two part mini series at a ridiculously young age (unbeknown to my parents) and it scared the absolute hell out of me.

Still to this day the best and downright creepiest vampires ever to grace the screen 👍🏻

Somewhere In The Ether…

Two more recent horror antagonists that creeped me out somewhat; The demon/whatever the hell it was in, It Follows and secondly, Kayako in The Grudge franchise (the original Japanese versions are the creepiest).

Jaws - she (Great White females are MUCH larger than the males, and more aggressive) made the whole world terrified of paddling with just two notes played on a double bass. And a few notes on a tuba.

That is terrifying!

The Terrifier and IT top of the clown ones.

The Daleks and Yeti on Dr Who put me in a state of perpetual shock as a child.

In order of when the films came out-

The creepy son of a bitch apparition that follows the lady around in ' carnival of souls'.

Jerry Dandrige in 'fright night'.

The old man character from 'poltergeist 2'.

The creeper out the 'Jeepers Creepers' films.

The changing entity in ' it follows'.

The mutant lady in 'barbarian '.
