Somewhere In The Ether…

….Bastard?

I love the Northern pronunciation: ‘Bass-Tud!’ - the middle drawn out somewhat for maximum phonetic impact.

The Southern pronunciation: ‘Bar-Stud’ is what I’m more used to down here however.

Special mention to across the pond and the Texan variation: ‘Baer-stud!’ - which has a delightful ring to it.
