little house on the praire

Ive always done this since callum was little. Special moments or places and ive said lets make a moment of today.

Last year on my dads 75 birthday we had a lovely day out just the two of us and i made a memory. The last couple of days have been difficult for me for some reason all though ive moved on. But i keep living the memory of that day.

One thing i havent done is write them down.

So im going to write down all the special memory days i had with callum growing up and with jay, and put them in a big book. Something good to reflect back on.

I know im rambling today

Southwick

That's a lovely idea.

I asked my ma about ten years ago to write some notes about me. She wrote a truthful account of major events and her thoughts that covered my life from birth. It has suffered some minor damage from damp (written in ink) but something that is treasured especially as she died in 2011.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Karen,

a memory book is a great idea. It's not that long since your father died and you have been worrying about Jay. It's hardly surprising that you have been reflective.

More than the making of the memory the important thing was that you had that special day with your father. You have had special times with Callum and with Jay. And with many others, I am sure.

Remember that special day and all of the others.

I think its a lovely idea.

my daughter is nearly 2 & I was thinking of setting her up an email account & sending her a mail once a month with details of milestones & memories for her to read when she's older.
