Telford

So I seen the match tonight that was rescheduled and for some reason, I feel like the ref held off calling full time until Everton scored the levelling 2-2 goal.

Does anyone else have the same feeling or was it just me?

Please be kind in the comments as we all debate about the liberpool derby match.

In the 97th minute! They used to call that Fergie time, once upon a time

I didn't watch the match, but was there a delay in added time to justify that? I did see the ref was Michael Oliver though so all bets are off 🤷‍♂️

Makes a change, it's normally Liverpool who get an extra half hour whenever they are losing.

"Everton were mint.

A goody, son!"

I’m really surprised I understood that.

I know absolutely nothing about soccer but I know that’s where the reds play.

A goody, son!"

Both of these are great puns

You know you'll never walk alone, Sam

5 minutes were added then two players needed treatment for clash of heads. So I think it was justified, didn't hear any complaints about the added time. More for a push before the Everton goal.

I am a blue though, and we deserved the draw.

Wasn’t a clash of heads was delaying tactics and lying face down - absolute 12th man on the payroll scenario

Hey, I'm not one to turn down a point. Rather the full 3 but a point is something!

The clash of heads? I must have missed that bit when I went to the loo or skmething lol! Thanks for clearing it up

Once again, Liverpool gain a point by playing fairly. No fouls, play-acting or dissent from the Reds.

Eeeeeeeeverton 💙. A clash of heads in injury time, meant there was more added. It's not rocket science, unlike Tarks' volley.

Big up Doucoure for telling VVD to shut up. I enjoyed that the most.

As a Liverpool fan, it annoyed me immensely but we didn't do enough to win the game and probably didn't deserve to win the game.

I've never thought Michael Oliver to be a "top referee" and there were certainly some questionable decisions in the game for both teams from him.

Scenes at the end...bless Everton. As Van Dijk said afterwards, this was the game of their season. Celebrating a draw as hard as when they avoided relegation twice. It's the closest they'll come to winning anything meaningful, like a trophy, for years so let them have their moment.... although I guess the trophy cabinet will need a thorough dusting off before they move it to Bramley Moore Dock. Not been opened since 1995!

Curtis Jones to play the theatrical hard-man when his career as a footballer is over?

Two LFC coaches to join a university debating team? VVD prosecuted for animal cruelty for chewing a wasp in his post-match interview?

Did EFC celebrate? Yes, they got a well-deserved draw against the best team in the Premiership by showing heart and commitment.

Not in your area

I wonder if they're going to have an open day at Goodison Park for fans to come and take pictures.

Not an Everton fan but I'd like to go there before they bulldoze it.

I’m a Gooner and I cheered when Tarkowski’s goal flew into the roof of the net as if I was a toffees fan myself! 🤣 what a game that was!

Bradley should have seen a 2nd yellow too but again let off ref was awful to be honest but played the alloted time plus the extra stoppage time that added up in extra time.

As a Toffee I loved the passion and result. Blood and thunder game with additional entertainment thrown in. No viewer could complain about being short changed.

And yes it was lovely to see VVD being told to 'stop talking' 😃
