So new labourer on the team is the proverbial chocolate teapot/fireguard and already heard grumbling from the senior team about heave hoo.

Is this considered insider trading if I start a pot about how long he'll last before P45 or quits?

How about you take him under your wing and show him the ropes of your experience?

If it's a skills / experience thing, how about supporting him rather than writing him off?

If it's a lazy arse thing, how about speaking to him about site expectations rather than just letting it ride til he gets fired?

I have my own Chippie apprentices to manage and mentor.

Labouring is manged by the logistics team and I've got to say it is a very cutthroat, hard work, high expectations, not a great wage and for years now labouring isn't the gateway into a skilled trade it once was.

I think we've all worked with someone who doesn't pull their weight and if he's experienced but just expecting everyone else to pick up the slack opening a book on his impending demise is perfectly acceptable.

Excellent, I'm going for next Tuesday, think he'll be given the week to see how it goes, they'll delay the decision and cut on Monday.

Again, this is 100% a "not my circus, not my monkey" situation.
