I gotta say that "pride" in ones work and doing a good job etc...is a rarity with tradesmen these days.

I had a plumber out the other week and just because he didnt have the part handy...and he didnt want to go back to the depot.

He tried fixing said leak by glueing a bit of plastic over me hole.

I sat watching this farce when he eventually found summat in the back of the van which did the trick....

Then today im having me boiler serviced and before he went...he says.....

Can i please use ya loo....

I says ok...

After he left , i find out he had peed all over me toilet floor....

I recently had a house refurbished. Most of the workmen were great, hardworking and professional. Apart from the electrician who I eventually threw out of the house. He managed to rack up a catalogue of problems and, with working full time, he was harder to nail down than fog.

Having a tradesman status and being high in my game I look after complaints etc from others who work under my instruction, we as a company hold high standards from what we expect, we also are part of a government based " buy with confidence" scheme meaning we are audited on every job we install, spot checked on paper work etc. next time I would recommend referring to one of these schemes and take pics vids of people like your plumber and speak to management
