Hi.

I was mail chatting with someone who had winked at me. After a while, everything disappeared. The wink, and all of the email chat.

I think that account been deleted. Am I correct?

Not quite everything. Forum posts stay but the poster is marked as "user no longer on site". Same with any messages you move to the saved area

Mail disappears when someone deletes their account.

If admin suspend an account the mail remains.

A catfish is someone who pretends to be something they are not. For example a man pretending to be a woman or a couple or a woman sending pictures of a thirty year old when they are 50

"can the mail disappear and the profile vanished under the blocked filter for several hours then reappear?"

No.

You would see the account suspended or user has blocked you message

Happened to me overnight with 2 profiles. Spent all day talking to 2 different guys and had pretty much decided to meet for the first time in 8 months and when I woke up this morning. Both threads had gone.

Gutted because I don't decide to meet often but it's the way it goes on here.

Thanks all.

I'm not bothered about the loss of a potential meet.

Just feels like I had a lucky escape
