Without a doubt for me it was the episode of Inside No. 9 called The Twelve Days of Christine.

Weird things keep happening during the episode that don't make sense. Then a little before the end they reveal what's really going on and it's a real OMG moment.

The last lines spoken by Sheridan Smith with her family are absolutely gut-wrenching. We were both in tears.

It's one of the most amazing pieces of TV I've ever seen. It's on the iPlayer if you want to see it.
