It's not my favourite place either. But I don't mind the drive between here and Glasgow, city of my birth.

Yes. It was free. Used the DLR, then river boat back up the Thames. Great trip, especially if you have kids, but perfect for adults too

It really put me in my place.

I've got some old and new friends to meet in London sometime this year.

I don't really have any other reason to go, some good museums, perhaps a show. It's not really a city that resonates for me. No offence to the Loopholes and residents amongst us intended.

Greenwich is superb. So much history, great markets, and the river (best way to see the City is to take riverboat to Westminster & back).

I'm close to the edge of London (think 10 o'clock on the M25 and you're just about right), so trips in & around London (usually for football matches) are regular for me. In fact, heading across town for Leyton Orient v. Manchester City in the F.A. Cup shortly.

It's just a poor city compared to European cities. Everything is a rip off, nothing looks real glamorous about it anymore! It's old, it's tired and it wouldn't be what I'd tell people to come to the UK for!

We're back in London for gigs at Wembley in the summer but we'd avoid it completely if we had a choice!

I fly into stansted on Thursday, spending the evening in London, then a few days in Kent, back to Italy next Monday, then back to stansted next Thursday for 10 days in watford, which I guess is close, maybe nip into Kentish Town for a quick Rios trip

No, it means people can fly there to get the train into London.

Same as Southend. London Southend. They aren't part of London.

I love Luton airport, they are such a nice vibe and they do that little free bus to the train station. Unlike Stanstead, a wanky pretentious airport with far too small corridors for the amount of people and a crap lounge that is always overbooked
