I was a mere teenager when I tried them....and so ensued a trip to casualty - torn ankle ligaments. Never give up is my motto...next time did the other ankle...

I gave up after that...

Yep I had a pair of bauer turbos in my youth

Actually I brought a pair for myself and my daughter about a year ago, well had no choice but to buy her a pair too?! Lol

Yeh rhere the ones i have too! My nephew wanted me to show him how to skate lol i think he was doing fine without my help lol

You see the problem about coming in cold to a topic.....to me a Bauer is the manufacturer of world class drilling and piling rig.....WTF would we be doing with that on Fab.....but then again ????

I loved mine used to go mk ice rink mondya night ladies free if have own skates lol but had to pay pound hir eother s lol my ex bro in law had a pair he nicked from nortampton I nicked from him lol loved them so much but swopped a pair skates for a child lol miss them tbh bit hey good times were had

i never had a pair of bauers myself but plenty of mates did. i ended up on inlines for about 4 years straight

ive wanted to get back into it as got very good on them. might invest in a pair for the summer and see if i can reproduce some of the magic

ahhhh so many weekends spent hanging out by the ice rink in MK drinking hooch thinking i was cool

i didnt go ice skating much but went to more tan a few al night skates at rollers

Know what u mean! I only advanced to bauers when i started going rollerdrome in leicester in nightclub Zanzibar! The turned the dance floor into skating ring! Highlight of my week on a weds night lol
