I live a similar lifestyle to the one I did in my 30’s (one of the benefits of not having kids). I find being single keeps me pretty young, in comparison to some others I know around my age. Spending lots of time in London also helps too ...

I have sensibility and maturity in the right situations and with people who are not close to me. Put me with my nearest and dearest family & friends in any situation and I honestly can't contain my immaturity, humour, sarcasm and quick wit. I even managed an uncontrollable fit of laughter at my dad's funeral when my husband did something in the chapel that my kids and I found hysterically funny. (My dad would have giggled too if he had seen it)

I am 50 years old and still act like a kid when it comes to having a laugh.

I've always been told I seem older than my age suggests which I take to mean that I am boring as fuck 😂

But seriously, I see as a compliment to be seen in that way but it does come with a sort on internalised pressure of expectation that if I do have a wobble or take a bit of risk, it's usually met with "that's not like you!" Which can suck the life out of any fun you want to have.
