What exactly does professional mean on a profile?????

Surely the fact that those of us who work and are trained to a level must class ourselves as professional??

Or is it just for those who hold themselves in a high regard who feels that adding this to a profile gives them some sort of dominance over others?

Again, I'm just looking for some kind of clarification

Professional, genuine, discreet, likeminded. All frequently written on profiles and in my opinion are pretty meaningless
