Do you say it with an accent?

Are there any other foods or drinks that you say with an accent?

If you pronounce the hard r sound after another consonant, like cr, tr etc, it is supposed to sound like your clearing your throat. In France it seems normal, here it sounds like your about spit 😂

The approximation of a sort of w sound, e,g. as a qu sound (as in quack) for croissant ~ quasson, is what most non-native speakers do, and apparently many French people find English people speaking French quite sexy… takes all sorts I guess 🤷‍♂️

I don't care if anyone thinks it's pretntious or not. If I know how to pronounce it close to original will do so whether it's French, Mongolese or Icelandic but not worried otherwise. Some people call espresso, expresso and so what. But I will call it espresso as I have always done.
