At what age do you think a woman should stop wearing a bikini and go for a one piece costume?

Obviously I am asking this on behalf of a friend

I don't think there is a set age, maybe more a body shape as with other clothing items. I think the answer would be when you don't feel comfoartable wearing it.

But if you push me to choose an age 75+.....

A number of ladies of a certain age at my swimming club have taken to wearing tankinis.

Very flattering they are too.

Yep I'm inclined to agree I was interested in how other people looked at it.

Brighton - even Hove!

Plenty of beaches in Sussex where you don't need to wear anything

I do have a bikini but I prefer costumes.

My bikini is high waisted and the bra is a sturdy construction so it's not skimpy, and my costumes are low leg, 50s style ones so again not skimpy. These styles suit my figure

I tend to agree with those of you who say it isn't age it's how you feel about that counts. I have a number of fairly conservative friends who think that no one over 40 should wear one and that's pushing it.

I wear them but as someone else said wouldn't walk into town in one and I no longer buy the three triangles of flimsy fabric type either
