"Morning men, As the less fair race, is it the norm that we do not take ‘selfies’? I’m in my early thirties now and I still have no idea how to take a picture of myself, nor do I like looking at pictures of my face taken by self. I’m not a narcissistic person, but I do put in work at the gym and I get lots of friendly compliments which is great. However, when it comes to sending/ taking face pictures, I’m hit by a wave of nausea and generally feel quite depressed Is this just me? What pictures do you find work for you? Any advice from the fairer sex would be equally as beneficial and informative, if you have read this far, ladies. Happy Wodensday all. .x " Show me someone who has submitted a decent photo verification to FAB as we are all to busy making sure we’ve got both hands in the picture with a concentrated facial expression  | |||

I find using a selfie timer helps it gives 10 seconds to try different angles, positions and smiles.
If there are things your conscious of or wish to hide away use props. Hats, ties, belts, towels stand behind a piece of furniture etc.
Before you do all of that, look in the mirror and find things you like about yourself. Use those as the focus of your pictures hope that helps.
For something a little different, ladies like a good strong hand shot holding your waistband, belt, tie etc. Arms, backs, thighs. The more you try the more you'll find what works for you, which will also be a confident boost.

"Trial and error. Women aren't born knowing how to take a good selfie. Use different angles, try varying lengths of distance between you and the camera. Different expressions on your face. Props. Lighting. Think about what it is you're trying to express in this photo. Watch videos online of how to use the settings on your camera or phone to better represent yourself. Look at other photos to see what works for other people and try to emulate that in your pictures." Thanks for the kind advice, I never thought about props before. I think some people just aren't comfortable in front of the camera, myself included, and it shows in the resulting picture. The best photos of me are those when taken by someone else when I'm not really aware of it. Or if I'm tipsy and past caring. | |||
