Wanted to say this on another thread. But as it wasnt the main topic discussed (just the side topic that happened).

It was kind of a follow on from why men are charged more for their car insurance than women.

What i want to know is. Why did my car insurance go up now i am divorced. Please bare in mind my ex was never on my insurance as he couldn't drive more medical reasons. And then a friends car insurance went down when she told the she was now married and her husband also isn't insured on her car?

Why am i all of a sudden a bigger insurance risk for being divorced. All i did was got rid of one extra person i had to drive everywhere.

Oh okay. Its still very frustrating though. Never wrote a car off. Never made a claim. And i am being penalised for getting rid of an over grown child. Lol
