Blocked for looking at photos

how many get blocked for looking at photos ? Just got blocked as i liked a ladies. Photo, she was very good looking. Seeems strange to me that people post photos then block people for looking at them.

By the way i did not contact them in any way, it has happened a few times now

It’s a defence mechanism.

Not all refrain from making contact, and it’s a way of simply ensuring that someone they don’t want to hear from, doesn’t message.

Maybe you were blocked because they recognised you.

It doesn't matter. If someone doesn't want contact with you there's no point having access to their media anyway.

Blocking is just a way of filtering and making the site work better for the individual. It's not a personal attack.

Just move on to more compatible profiles 💜

It wasn't because you looked at her photos. It was because she looked at you and decided for one of many possible reasons that she didn't want contact with you or for you to be able to see her profile again, so she blocked you to save both of you further trouble.

I get what your saying, i very rarely contact people as being 64 I don’t fit most age groups and i do respect what’s put on a profile.

Sometimes its just nice to look, and lets be honest we do put the photos on for people to look at as it can be a turn on knowing that.

But i understand your points of view thank you for replying

Yeah I get it that is odd however I do understand that they also may not want to be contacted, but saying that I also think it’s just common curiosity to politely decline if not interested. I do get some people can be abusive but that’s what the report feature is for, gotta separate the bad apples from the good ones some how.

I think the point here is that he’s stated he didn’t contact the person, he had just fabbed one of their photos

It sounds to me like the account owner has blocked to express that they wouldn’t be interested in any contact (including viewing their profile) from OP.

OP I can't think of any good reason to be looking at profiles without your privacy setting set up so you are not showing as having looked. Women must often have it set so they don't get " I see you looked at my profile " messages. I don't want those messages either.

Yeah I mean that’s a bit much, if you go on cams expect that people will watch and if you don’t want to be watched by certain people, I suggest you figure out a way to do private calls or whatever.

Surely self adoring arrogant dickheads would welcome the attention?

I think the prevalence of people who block before any contact are because of people who think they are entitled to look at profiles and can't fathom someone can chose to block who ever they wish l.

And then of course there are the people who throw out abusive insulting language about people they know nothing about imagining how these people could handle rejection

Starting from the fact that everybody has the right to block anyone they like, I also find it strange that someone will block because you viewed or even you fabbed a pic. I had someone block me quite a while back because I fabbed one of his pic (arty rather than anything else) in tbe fab a fella Thursdat thread. I was new here back then and did find it strange. Now, it would not bother me whatsoever and would certainly say more about them and how narrow minded and insecure they might be. In short, who cares. Obviously their choice to do that and you, like me and most people on here, need to have a bit of thick skin and jot let anything like that bother you. Just my humble advice.
