Falme

So I'm trying to balance my karma out having participating/causing one of the most toxic/unpleasant threads of my experience.

So before I'm ready for bed I like the white noise of an old sailing ship so lots or creeking wood, flapping sails, waves against the Hull and the occasional ships bell.

What's your nighttime lullaby

(Exs was d*unk ladies solve crime)

Harry Potter audio books

Or true crime asmr videos, I just have to remember to set a timer for it to turn off after 20 mins. It’s a little creepy waking up to someone whispering about murders 😅

I have some nice relaxing meditations with a soothing voice and some meditationy music in the background.

Mr seems to like some action drama thing on the TV that would wake the dead 😳

All sorts; waves, piano music, body scan.

I have a bluetooth speaker on the spare pillow beside me, eye mask also. I generally listen to sth every night to go asleep...this brain does not have an off switch 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Rain and thunder is my go to. I spend alot of time in hotel beds (travelling with work) and I find the common factor of a familiar background noise helps alleviate the 'unfamiliar' environment.

Occasionally, I'll put on jungle noise or the white noise and radio chatter of a space-cockpit.

If you like to fall asleep to spoken word though, I can't recommend listening to ALAN WATTS enough! A speaker of philosophy and one of the greatest sounding voices ever recorded!

Manchester(ish).

I listen to a podcast that's both dull and interesting.

My brain likes the distraction, so I drop off to sleep pretty easily.

I open my window at night in the summer to hear them right outside.

I like the radio on low

I wake quite a bit in the night, so it's nice to not wake to a dark, silent room

"I close my eyes and then find I just wake up in the morning. Is there another way of doing this sleep thing?"

This is exactly what I do. I’m usually asleep within a couple of minutes.

I sleep at random times. Quite often during the day. Watching TV makes me sleep so I'm usually conked out with something blaring from a screen.

Does it begin "a long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away"?

I fall asleep to the sound of cattle lowing in the field. It's a deep, soothing sound that means all's well in a cow's world and it is in mine too.

It used to be whale song with sea sounds. I had a great C60 with a variety on. Now it tends to be Peloton sleep meditations, sadly vitality won’t give me points for them
