Ex hubby worked for yodel.... Was always saying it was a cowboy outfit throwing stuff here n there. Wish they'd thrown ex instead of parcels

Royal Mail are by far the best. These tv programs are edited to make them look much worse than they actually are. There wouldn't be a program worth watching if they showed everything in a balanced way.

What have Royal Mail got to do with it?

Any parcel company are only as good as the staff at a particular depot, or even the regular driver on a round. I won't buy anything at work that is being delivered by UK Mail as the depot that covers my area is shit. They are nearly as bad as the lying fuckwits at Yodel.

For stuff being delivered their text to say what time is a godsend. Isn't it strange how they can tell roughly what time they will deliver but none of the other companies can?

The answer is of course they can, but they won't.

The biggest wind up is the 'we left a card' when it's just a blatant lie. I've been on the phone to UK Mail at their Radlett depot complaining about non delivery the day before and the guy told me that another card had been left while I was on the phone to him!

I now ask suppliers who they use, if it's UK Mail or Yodel (who, if their satnav doesn't put them outside your door, couldn't find their arse with both hands) I try to buy from someone else.

And I don't mind paying a bit more for a DPD delivery.

It's the people not the companies!

I am a courier (same day) and deliver parcels packages some business and some private.

I treat all with care the same as I would expect my stuff to be treated but unfortunately other people do not and I do see them do it

Its the same in any service industry I'm afraid people always feel hard done by and take it out on whatever they are handling at the time.

I am just happy being employed and see no reason to disrespect peoples property just for the hell of it.

Take a look on you tube at some of the shocking videos and all of the big name s are there but cant blame the actual companies it's the people who work for them.

just human nature these days I suppose

Same day is a different ball game though, I've done that on a motorbike and in a van but I have to say that a lot of times the attitude of the drivers/riders filters through from the top.

Courier work at one time was a good earner.
