I have both full sleeves, back of neck, behind ear, both feet, ankle to knee on right leg, nearly full left leg, starting on my hands got two small hand ones so far, back piece in discussion.

20 years ago needles were thicker and courser so tattoos looked smudged with skin age. Its very different now

however my tats are personal and mean stuff rather than me choosing one cos its cute now n maybe not happy with it in 20 years.

Yes I have a tramp stamp on my back, but I love it. I've actually had loads of compliments on it - and even one from a lady in the pub who said she normally hates them but that it just sat perfectly placed and suited me really well.

I have not seen one but one of my kids told me a bout a white tattoo which was done on white skin and apparently it looked very subtle and beautiful. Was hoping somebody on here knew something about it?

The problem with white tattoos is they can go yellow. No one knows how the white will react. But i have seen some very cool pictures

I want a uv one done but at the moment my tattooist isnt convinced the uv ink is safe

The white tattoos look a lot like scarification. Just I guess they don't hurt as much. White tends to reject if used over large spaces as well as turn yellow. But they do look pretty.

I've been reading about UV ones too, would love one, but most tattooists don't think the ink is safe. But then they used to think that about red ink 20 years ago!!

The white on my koi virtually disappeared in a couple of months, similar thing happened with my brother.

Our artist also has doubts about the safety of UV inks too.
