My favourite is my haunted house and I really want the Disney castle and the titanic

I bought the Vespa just because groot fits on there…then I also had to buy groot

I’ve still got all the kids star wars sets from when they were little as well as all the other things but they’re all broken up into tubs. I doubt they’ll ever get sorted.

I got the Dune ornithopter for my birthday, last year.

It's the most complicated thing I've ever built and it was a joy.

The thing I loved most about it, oddly enough, was the sheer effort that must have gone in to designing, engineering and manufacturing it.

Small beer compared to restoring a car, or a boat, or a plane - but I know my limitations. 🙂

We have not bought any in many years but have all the early Harry Potter, all the early Star wars and all the early Batman. We also have a pre connect large Ferrari and the Ferrari race truck

There are six tote bins in the shed being saved for any grandkids that may bome along in the future

I used to have the big red bucket of random Lego bricks like I imagine most kids in the 80s and 90s did.

I used to prefer Meccano though. It had bolts and screws so it wouldn't get obliterated if you accidentally knocked your build off the table, kits often came with quite powerful DC motors and the metal parts were electrically-conductive, so I felt like you could do more with Meccano if you went off-script.

The big sets on my list are hogwarts Castle, eiffel tower, grand piano and all the Lord of the rings.

I've a small collection of Harry Potter birds and a dragon.

The kids have tons which I obvs get to help with.

Hubby has the excavator which he turned into Johnny 5 and a blue car (I don't know what it is). He's collecting star wars heads.

Oh and I have groot to build.

Put a stop to buying any more until we work out how to display it
