"About to try liquid foundation and liquid lip colour for first time. Any tips greatly appreciated!" Use a primer. Any one will do just fine don’t bother with pricey ones. Powder your primer. Then put your foundation on. It will sit much better on your face, stay out without dropping, and last.

"Watch YouTube makeup tutorials. You can get decent makeup in drugstores to practice with. You don't need to splurge on expensive items. Just keep on practicing, it's all trial and error. The more you practice the better you get. Then your confidence will grow and you'll start experimenting with bolder looks." The eyes have it! Getting practice has been instrumental so far.
