Is it really a sin? It might not be good for you obviously if practiced as the norm. The odd day here and there surely is not that awful and certainly not a sin. I am usually quite good with what I have, despite the love for cake, but very occasionally have one of those days. Hopefully I am forgiven

My failing is not gluttony per se. But I occasionally get cravings for just dirty food, like those Westles tinned hamburgers, or Frey Bentos pies and steak and kidney pudding, whole ones to myself. I feel no guilt either I’m clearly a degenerate lol

Actual gluttony as per Dante’s Inferno is embedded in the perpetrator, I doubt you qualify for that but if you do I will see you down there, I’ve saved you a seat

My unhealthy relationship with food certainly leads into gluttony, especially where crisps are concerned

Do you have a specific flavour that drives you over the edge?

It’s ok , it was written well before salted crisps were a thing. I think you’re allowed an exception here.

Glad I am not the only one. I did resist the big piece of cake in the fridge though that was staring at me earlier. How long for, who knows

Generally I cook fresh....But sometimes when I least expect it. The DonnaKebab itch happens. Extra large all the trimmings and garlic mayo. I unashamedly enjoy every greasy mouthful and don't bother wiping the sauce from my face either as I gorge.

I understand this

I sometimes treat myself to a pack of the chopped pork roll with egg in the middle

It's almost nostalgic

When we're on holiday, Christmas and birthdays we eat whatever we want, when we want. Is that gluttony? If so I don't think its a sin

I do that too, I think it's because as children it was something quite exotic..

I can't eat a whole slice now as the 'meat' makes me feel a bit sick..

Honestly is one of the things I look forward to when on holiday. Good food and varied stuff you don't or can't easily do at home. Lovely food, glass or two of vino, maybe a bit of salsa and definately some g&ts, baileys and the likes. Of course a variety of cakes and pastries and delicious icecream too
