Had a good few friends and relatives who got it and they really were ill, but fortunately I never ever remember having the flu and didn’t get Covid so thankfully don’t know what they’re actually going through

Ugh, its mental. Last night I got the "I'm almos asleep!" ::COUGH:: "F**K!" For about five hours.

"Thats the spirit" will probably be vodka if it keeps up tonight. lol

If you're still able to work even at home, it's very likely you've got a cold rather than the flu. Hope you feel better soon

Yeah, appreciated.

I get the odd request to go physically into work here and there, but the irony is I get about 30% more done here anyways with my own hardware.

Try "hot toddy", might work.

I am finally at the tail end of my latest cold, had about 3 since November. Where I work does not help, or the fact that I use public transport. But I have been taking Actimel daily now for the last couple of weeks so hopefully that will help my immune system. Though it's probably more placebo effect than any scientifically proven immune system boost.

Becky and I both caught it at a New Year’s Eve party.

It downed us for 3 weeks, still struggling a bit now.

B needed antibiotics to clear it.

It’s grim, whatever it is.
