What’s your go-to dopamine fix when you’re feeling like you need a little pick-me-up? Whether it’s a quick workout, a favourite snack, a creative outlet, or something unique, what works for you?

Mine is cold water be it a shower or bath or a dip in nature.

Depending on the day, gym, Primark, a long hot bubble bath, club night out, my affirmation playlist.

Driving range.

Don’t leave until I’ve clipped one over 300yds on the track man!

Ignoring the fact that it went no where near where I was aiming.

I love dopamining at my local car boot sale. Never know what I might find and know it will be a lot cheaper than something new.

It all depends on my mood and how much time I have.

If it's comfort food I am seeking, then anything chocolate or cake with a coffee would do the trick. If I have more time then a trip to a coffee shop to sit in and have the treat whilst chatting to someone is great. My husband and daughter both know this is a great way to cheer me up.

Otherwise I get a fix from being outdoors, walking or running, with or without company. Or going to the gym with headphones and getting in the zone for a good workout.

Becky likes to relax and scroll, with a nap. That fixes everything..! 😁

Me, if I need to decompress and get a lift, I head into the garage and workshop.

I'm in the process of writing a blog post

Meet the DOSE chemicals—Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins—the natural mood-boosting powerhouses of your body. These four chemicals are critical to managing stress, enhancing mental clarity, supporting physical recovery, and fostering overall wellness.
