I didn’t know.

Not movies but I’m very impatient for series 2 of Landman on prime, absolutely loved the first series and Billy bob Thorntons character has inspired me to be a better man.

Popcorn isn’t my thing so I’ll bring the cashew nuts.

Absolutely done with superhero films.

The only film I'd get excited about is if they decided to do a decent film of the silver surfer.

I’m just not seeing anyone other than Chris Evans in the red white and blue. I gonna go with a guess that it’ll be a poor movie, which has the purpose of just wringing more 💵s out of a tired franchise.

I've got a ticket to see The Brutalist this weekend. And a ticket for the end of Feb to see the NT Live showing of Importance of Being Earnest with Ncuti Gatwa that I'm very much looking forward to.

I feel as if I completed Marvel a long time ago and all that remains just feels like it's being dragged out because it's worth too much money not to, rather than it being interesting in its own right.

I think that the corporate side of creative industries has led to a lot of safe decisions. Which in turn makes these stories go stale.

I kinda lost my interest in the Marvel films during the whole multiverse thing — it just felt too confusing and disjointed to me, especially as I usually like films that don't require too much thinking as I struggle with my attention span these days.

Nonetheless, I'll see about giving the new film a go 👍

I just don't get how he can be captain America with no powers. I've heard it's had multiple rewrites and reshoots and gone massively over budget.

I’ll be happy enough to wait until it arrives on streaming platforms. Quite like a lot of movies just lately.

I can’t recall the last time I was excited to see a movie on a cinema screen.

I feel Marvel lost its way once Endgame was completed, No Way Home aside, the rest just feels forced. Deadpool was good in its own right but now they are trying to bring him into something bigger and it doesn’t feel authentic, if that makes sense?

Film wise it’s been a while since I got excited for one in particular but really enjoyed A Quiet Place trilogy.

Only those from the Super Serum, like in the films. He has been 'killed off' before as well, in Civil War, which is a major difference from the movies.

He's also been an evil copy of himself, loyal to Hydra, it gets complicated. Mrs x

They should have just 'Deadpooled' a lot of them and just gone 'R' rated. 🤷‍♂️

There was also The Falcon and The Winter Soldier TV show which is probably a good lead into the movie.

That's why I didn't read a lot of American comics as a kid, too many intertwined stories across multiple titles. I seem to remember a Sgt Rock with batman in it.

Best to have stuck to 2000AD and independent comics back in the day.

In terms of films as someone who still enjoys seeing on film what could only be imagined when I was a child, Marvel and DC then produced passable B movies. They are back to doing what they did before the films became overblown, and portentous.

I don't play computer games so the only slick graphics I see are in the movies or in graphic novels which prefer to ongoing titles. I am not a huge Marvel or DC fan.
