Working from home

It’s probably been done many a time before (apologies, I’m an infrequent user of the forum)

But how about a thread for all of us working from home and getting distracted by Fab.

For info, you can search the forums for past threads. You're right that this topic has been covered many times before.

I wish I could work from home. Get a carpentry business off the ground. That would be amazing and it's a pipe dream. I may be distracted by fab once or twice though.

Right now I should be working, but I'm scrolling through Fab with my phone in one hand, and a steaming cuppa in the other. It's Monday morning and I need cheering up first so work can wait

I thought that's what the 'W' was in WFH.

I don’t know how you all get away with it.

Mrs Wicks productivity is monitored at her office, if it dips below her usual office based output, it’s red flagged and words will be spoken.

I’m probably just as productive as being in the office

It’s just idle chitchat is exchanged for naughtier chitchat

Work smarter between perving.

I'm not monitored, and i do more work most days at home than what's expected

"So much for workers from home being “more productive…” 😂😂😂😂"

I absolutely am more productive at home. I'm clocked in until half 4, and I've already finished all my work for the day because there's nobody I'm my living room to distract me. So now I'm working on an additional project for my boss - I'd never have had the time to do this in the office, with people interrupting every 5 minutes

I find working from home really isolating and dull.

This place helps with that.

On the rare occasion I have to work in an office setting, my productivity plummets. Get me on my own, and I do in two hours what I'd otherwise do in eight hours.
