Stop, drink coffee and shut eyes for ten minutes. Then either take over the driving or suggest they drive with the window open and radio on.

I usually open a window and pull over soon as I can. I'm often driving long distances at night, times I've found myself nearly in the back of a lorry or drifting not worth the risk
