"Hi - I am interested to understand whether you enjoy wearing underwear and did it naturally progress towards clothing, make-up, jewellery, wigs etc or does it stay with underwear? I am also interested to understand whether it's the feel of certain fabrics on your skin and the fit of such items that you enjoy or is it something to do with the fact that you feel that you shouldn't do these things... or something totally different. Genuine intrigue and respectful enquiry from me. Mrs" Mixture of all if the above! Some is definitely the feeling of the items + the fit : very different to male clothing. The 'naughtiness' of doing it adds a little extra. Some is it's a form of escapism from normal life.... Allows me to explore a different side of my personality For me, I have tried wig, makeup, jewellery etc but..... I still very much looked like a guy so don't often bother!!

Mrs" I'm trans so it's not crossdressing anymore, it's just my everyday lol, but I did for years before I came out and there was always a perfectly reasonable reason... I have sensory issues with my legs and anything not skintight feels like sandpaper, so leggings and tights were a godsend. I found a really cute Disney Xmas dress and it would be a waste to buy it and not wear it out. Womens boots and heels are just more comfortable than regular shoes and trainers. It'd look weird if I didn't use a little makeup with my dress and boots. The clothes aren't sitting right and they're cut to accommodate boobs so I'll try them with breastforms... At that point my then partner took me aside, told me how everyone had always seen me as a woman anyway and that I really already was transitioning, so I made it official, changed my name, changed my gender with the NHS, got on the looonnnnggg waiting list for hormone treatment. Best thing I've ever done. Loving my new life and I have far too many cool clothes now lol

And is that the initial stage? Forgive my questions but I am interested to understand, I have a curious mind. Mrs

Not a huge leap to then try panties and stockings. That was how it stayed for years. Gradually moved to wearing dresses and skirts, and bras. Then along came the need to try heels, wigs, false nails and makeup, and breast forms, as the need became stronger to make myself look more feminine but under it all was the love of nylon. I have no desire to be a woman, I'm not that convincing, but I love the alter ego. And nylon, did I mention I love nylon

Forgive my questions but I am interested to understand, I have a curious mind. Mrs" It's perfectly ok! There's, like, only nine gender clinics in the UK and the majority have waiting lists of decades. I'm in the shortest list and that's 4 years. They might see me by Xmas, THEN it's another 2 year wait for my second appointment when I might be diagnosed with gender incongruence and prescribed estrogen and testosterone blockers. Till then I'm on my own. There's a grey market way of getting hormones but I have medical complexities that make it dangerous for me to not have professional support. To be honest I'm pretty lucky that I'm fully socially transitioned and I have some very very nice or slightly blind people who tell me I already pass, but basically I'm living as a woman full time and the last couple of years have been terrific! There's a golden rule in trans circles that you don't go around suggesting non trans people might be trans, but some of the gorgeous girls in this thread.....🤣

I really do wish you all the very best and sincerely hope your hormone journey is smooth sailing. Speaking as a menopausal lady myself, my hormones have been all over the place and HRT has been a saving grace. Nothing is ever straightforward for us ladies hey. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Mrs
