What did you create last?

Paint? Pottery? Stitch? Write?

I've recently finished a canvas and a commission on a mannequin

I recently finished building and painting a 1/32nd scale lancaster bomber. Which is now mounted on my lounge wall. It’s too huge to display on a shelf at 1m wide.

"I do lots of stuff with the kids that I work with in early years education. We made a snake for our Luna New Year display this week."

Sir Ken Robinson:

"All children are born artists. The problem is to remain an artist as we grow up."

He elaborates that traditional education systems often stifle creativity, emphasizing conformity and standardization over individuality and imagination.

This week I did some watercolour paintings on postcards to send to my friends...Cornish winter beach scenes. Amazingly one friend framed hers which made me feel happier in my abilities.

I write a lot of short stories, mostly erotic, or smutty, depending on how you look at it. I share them with a friend in Spain who has also been my muse for some stories.

I can't say they're very good, but I enjoy it.

I built an 80's game show day out for work colleagues... Never thought I'd have to referee Play Your Cards right....but I did

Blankety Blank produced the rudest answers ever.

Next time I'm building life sized board games

Yeah, this was my first one so we'll see how well it goes. You had some plants I wanted to use up, but you can buy DIY kits that have everything you need online.

😀 me too! I went down a rabbit hole when I was couch locked and doom scrolling and I became, yep I'm gonna say that word, obsessed.

I must look into the DIY kits, or try something beginner friendly first.

Designing a planting scheme for a problem area at work. There wasn't much else to do when it was snowing.

Recording terrible ukulele renditions of well known songs and sending them to some weirdo who oddly likes them.

One area I'm definitely not creative is music, always got music on when I'm painting or writing but can't play a thing
