I have 2 email accounts and received a message from one to the other that i did not send. The same email was also sent to a couple of people that i had previously sent mail to but not deleted. I had an email from yahoo on the account from which the email was sent saying that someone in vietnam was trying to access account with password but they got in as mailed the 2 people. Total fluke it was also my account bit does anyone know what info they can get if any. Thanks

Depends what info you submitted when you signed up for the account, and also if you sent/received any emails with personal info in ??

Sounds like it wasn't too bad, perhaps caught in time by the isp?

Aspects seem a bit like the virus that sends itself on to everyone in your address book - not good.

I had a message from Yahoo earlier saying someone had accessed my email from Taiwan earlier.

All I did was go in and change the details - luckily its just an old email account that I used to play games on facebook

Sounds OK but change your password anyway. I've noticed it happening mostly to my FB friends so wondering if that's got anything to do with it.

When I set up my Facebook account I created a fresh hotmail address for that single purpose. Once I completed the Facebook signup process I deleted the hotmail account.

I do the same thing with most sites I join and never had any issues.

I have one regular account that I use but change the password every two weeks.
