I know what I am about to say may well attract the wrong kind of 'attention', but some years ago - for a laugh!! - to go to a New Years Eve party, I dressed as 'The Joan Collins Fan Club' (Julian Clary in his early days).

All it did was highlight the closet or latent TV fans in the room!!!!

Didn't even win the Best Costume prize either!!

I'm ashamed to say, Dad's Kiwi shoe polish was used to give me a darker skin tint than my usual albino English rose, the costume was a pair of purple pyjamas with a dressing gown cord tying the top and an old tie around my head...as for the 'tache, even at that early age, I had a problem with unwanted hair (although it was ginger)

Me: Catherine of Aragon and a serving wench.

Matt: Phantom of the Opera and a Sith Lord (star wars).

They were at fancy dress parties but the serving wench costume I kept, wish I could have kept the Phantom tux suit because Matt looked gorgeous still got the leather white mask though.
