Should I shave my beard?

It's a quandary! Had a beard for 5 years now and in that time it's been both short and trimmed and long and shaped.

But I think I might want to shave it and be clean shaven for a short time....

Obviously everyone's opinion counts but from the ladies what do you prefer?

Beard or no beard??

Depends if you like shaving.

I (like many men) hate it.

So a beard saves that.

See its quotes like this that make you wonder, if they can't be bothered shaving can they be bothered washing the same area

Errrm. No

Keeping clean is essential, shaving isn't.

Does anyone find it ironic how people want shaved genitals yet like beards?

If you want to… do it!

I like a clean shaven guy but a short beard/little bit of stubble is sexy too

I prefer no beard but you do you. To be honest if a man offered to shave his beard off for me it would probably put me off him! Nobody should change for someone else.

But for men shaving makes it look bigger, so i guess it depends if they want that 'massive chin' look or not? 🤔

All over devon, I love a road trip!

Why don't you shave half of it? Then you could do that thing Tommy cooper used to do and have a conversation about it with yourself by turning left and right looking the mirror 😂

I normally do a once a month visit to the barbers for a beard trim and shape (occasionally a hot towel shave) eye brows done and haircut (skin fade) leaves me feeling good in myself.

Been tempted to shave mine because I get a lot less interest on here with a beard but to be honest I prefer how I look with a beard so I’ll take having fewer meets

Whenever I've had a beard and thought about shaving I've gone down to a goatee , then mexican style moustache then completely off. So you get to see a different you and have people's opinions on each style.

I've heard it said that any man who thinks about shaving his beard in the hope of getting pussy doesn't deserve the beard or the pussy.

If you are going to shave it make sure you have a solid plan for all of the different styles that you will go through on the way to clean shaven. Personally I like the old timey Explorer then mutton chops then the hulk hogan and down to finally the chaplin but other routes are just as satisfying

I had a job in my early / mid 20's that meant I had to be clean shaven.

When I got to late 20's I've since always had stubble or more often a decent beard. Inc a really big one at one stage.

I have a good chin, jaw line and I really really like the ritual of shaving.. I actually enjoy / miss it.

But I shaved my beard off once when my daughter was very young and it freaked her the fuck out.

So it's stayed ever since.

This threads made me curious now

Hahahahahhaha

Hahah love this.

I'd only shave mine off to have stupid facial hair for a bit

Jeff from biker Grove

Wolverine

Handle bars

Mutton chops

Etc etc

And because I like shaving.

I'm a hairy fucker so it wouldn't last long
