I had mine done last mon and they said to clean it twice a day with a cotton bud dipped in cooled boiled water with a pinch of sea salt ( not table salt) dissolved in it.

Mine is healing really nicely with no soreness at all.

My daughter had hers done at the same time and hers is still quite sore and a little weepy.

Have you had your done yet?

third star on the right

"Salt water and a cotton bud"

Plus clean hands and turn it like a normal piercing. Takes ages to heal and stays sore for a while

I'd definitely agree with that, and I had about 30 piercings in various places for a while.

Sterimar do a saline spray which is ace for cleaning piercings.

Thanks for your replies! I had it done on friday, I was told the same, saline. But it still feela sore. Its not overly red so maybe the pain in normal and I'm being a wimp! I only ask as when I had my navel done years ago (when I could still see it) I used a savlon dry spray and it was brilliant

I know boiled water is a right faff, my piercer recommended the sterimar stuff. Its been ace, never had any issues with any of mine using it... and I do love my piercings...

Leave it the hell alone!

I've done that for all my piercings and never had a problem. Salt soaks once or twice a day for the first week then just let my body do its thing!
