"1hr 15minutes on hold to be told there is no Dr and the next appointment is 2 weeks unless it is an emergency in which case call back Thursday at 3 as she can't pre-book an appointment, when I said that I had run out of medication and the issue with my back was affecting my mental health she said dial 111 option two, I asked if they would prescribe painkillers and she said no but they can talk to you about your mental health. The NHS is broken, of to the pharmacy for co-codamol, At times like this I could do a box of wine to mask the pain temporarily but that undoes what I have done so far in not drinking." So frustrating. I have excruciating sinus probs and have just been signed off from the consultant back to my gp with instructions to drink more water 🤪 Just as a suggestion re the meds I get mine on repeat online and that way I can order every three weeks and always have a little buffer for emergencies/delays/out of stock. Meanwhile I hope the cocodamol work for you and that you can get to speak to someone to order what you need x | |||

"Blue Monday was my 40th birthday and it was a mixed day that's left me low since. Had the day off work, had a lay in but the majority of the day was spent alone. I was able to take my kids out for a meal in the evening which was lovely but had to drop them off back home that night. As a family we always went for meals, this Xmas and my birthday was the first time spent alone and it's hit pretty hard. Trying to snap out of a potential spiral."
