"Lovable. No. Well written in such a way that you sympathise, empathise and root for the blatant villain. Very much so. The pov aspect and inner monologue does so much in that regard. It gets less after season 1 for obvious reasons but still you are sort of still wanting him to get through it due to the spin it puts on him vs others. Season 3 was the big turning point toward him being less of somebody you can empathise with. Largely because to do so they had to make the other likable characters seem insane. And I expect that will continue. " I hated him throughout season 4. And even though Love was a psycho I got a bit sick of Joe’s obvious love addiction through season 3 too.  | |||
