But not looks.

I once dated a guy who wore tracksuits ALL THE TIME. I think because he paid stupid money for them he thought that counted as being well dressed. Didn’t have the heart to tell him that no matter what it costs a tracksuit will only ever be a tracksuit and I don’t think it’s appropriate to wear to dinner. He was happy enough in them so I didn’t bring it up.

How important is dress sense in someone you’re seeing? Are you attracted to certain styles?

Style makes a huge difference to us.

For example:

If I see a woman wearing crocs even just the once she’s sexually dead to me forever.

Time and place. A bit of smart casual goes a long way. Certainly no builder's crack

I think if I find them hot, I would still find them hot if they decided to wear sweats. However, I think it's important to me to read a room and know how to dress accordingly. I feel like I'd get second hand embarrassment if someone was wearing an outfit that didn't match the occasion.

o o OO o o

I prefer casual dressers.

Jeans, cords, t-shirt/jumper/cardigan and a jacket.

An outdoorsy look. Relaxed but brushes up well for the pub kind of thing.

Personally for me it's if it looks like someone has put a little thought into their outfit. But I tend to find I'll look at someone's shoes first, followed by their hair.

Earlier today whilst out shopping I saw someone who had matched their shoes very well to their tracksuit. Teu were the same colour and both had pink details.

I tend to find that because of the grubby overalls I wear at work I tend to dress a bit nicer when I go out. Even if I'm just popping to the shops. Although I have recently "discovered" tracksuits and they are so comfy and easy.

This is really unfortunate. I’ve been against them forever. Borrowed my friends and I’m converted. Purchasing asap

There are things that might turn me off and yes I like someone to make an effort...

But as long as its decent I really don't notice what people are wearing unless it's bizarre for some reason. Like shorts when it 3 degrees 🙄 🤣

Aside from that I'm really oblivious. I'm only ever focused on the person and if they wore the same thing every time I met them I probably wouldn't notice.

What about just general style? Do you see it as important if someone takes time to be well turned out?

I quite like seeing a bum crack on a woman

I’ve not seen them so you live on in my head.

Just don’t wear them for tea dates.

That happens to the best of us. I had a last minute invite to beach party from an old friend last summer when I was visiting family. Turned up in flip flops only to realise everyone was dressed for an occasion!

I think making an effort in the right circumstances shows a positive attitude and thoughtfulness, both good qualities. Not being arsed shows the opposite.

I’m attracted to people who put some thought and effort into their style… whatever the occasion may be.

There’s something warm, cosy and comforting about hanging out with someone casually in their comfort clothes, but I love to see a little effort if we are going out for any occasion.

I live in jeans and a t shirt. Except when I am down the gym or it is summer then I live in shorts and a t shirt.

It would be hypocritical if I complained about someone else’s dressing style.

To be fair, if you use the term "beach party", what do you expect? 😂

If a guy is hot but is wearing socks and sliders then it’s an instant no. For me it’s worse than seeing a dick on a toilet seat photo

I gravitate to men who wear smart casual attire, however a man in a well fitting suit, will always catch my gaze

I don't mind what someone wants to wear in their own home once we've become comfortable with each other but if no effort is made for the first few meets or when we go out then that says a lot about a person to me. Makes me feel like I'm not worth the hassle

I think it depends on the occasion! Smart casual works most of the time, but I will dress up for the right circumstances, but usually live in the shirts and jeans, apart from the bike riding leathers

I'm not looking for women who are ostentatious or 'sartorially saturated', but someone who makes a little effort to look fresh, presentable and exude a casualness about them. Smart but casual denims and contemporary knitwear - stylish but unfussy.

I don’t have too much of a preference in individual style as long as it’s done well.

Guys that know what colours work on them, what cut of jeans compliment their frame, good belt and shoe choice etc all plays a part in attraction to me. Along with knowing how to dress for any occasion.

For me, someone wanting to present themself well can show confidence which is suuuper sexy

Right time, right place.

If they are under or over dressing for certain occasions, or dressed inappropriate for it then I'll certainly be questioning things but I also like people to have their own personal style about them too.

Dress sense is important to us and like it when people make an effort.

If someone turned up in a tracksuit we would not be impressed.

We always make an effort to look our best when meeting others or going to a club or social event. We don't understand why people don't.

"

It's more about what puts me off.

I really dislike the joggers as everyday street wear look, and wouldn't be attacted to anyone who did this. Scruffiness is also unappealing.

I am often drawn to people with an alternative look, though.

I like a well dressed woman, who doesn't. But tbh if I am attracted to a woman, even if she's wearing a tracksuit, it wouldn't stop me.

My turn off's are religious people & Tories
