Hey fab forumites, I've trapped a nerve in my chest/shoulder and it's giving me agony. Don't suppose any of you fine fellows have also suffered and have any advice/ help for me until I can get a doctor. Thanks.

Can you get hold of any diazepam or naproxen ?

Lie on floor and listen to some meditation and try and relax.

You have my sympathy it’s horrible.

Had the same years ago and chiropractor was only thing that fixed it.

Ibuprofen and codeine pills from pharmacist, also alternating hot and cold compress

Try to keep it moving, even if only slightly. The worst thing you can do is hold it in the same place. Anti inflammatory and pain killers.

Heat compress (i use one of those bean filled things can warm in the microwave, sold at home bargains cheap enough), and a few painkillers.

If really bad get some amitriptyline on prescription, doesn't knock you out as much as diazipan

Welcome to my world. Keep it moving gently and resist the urge to tense up to stop it nipping. Gentle massage, warmth, a shower works great for me. Chemical solutions, half a diazapam works wonders, painkillers do not touch it.

Pain killers just mask the issues and long term affect your gut badly

It’s very important to see the right skilled person

See your doctor and don't go to a private quack. The doctor will refer you to a proper specialist
