Sat here having a Bru with a few biscuits. I would like to hear other reviews of biscuits and how long it takes before it gets too soggy when dunking.

Bourbon Cream: 4 seconds

Custard Cream: 3.5 seconds

Nice: 1.5 seconds

Chocolate digestives: 5 seconds

Smooth faces are very important re surface area and minimises surface tension - and if you can get icing on them you can extend the dunking time too

Cold tea /coffee prolongs the dunking time if you need to cheat with a fellow dunker

Very interesting theory. Rough surfaces will definitely decreases the time to get soggy. Example, Foxe's milk chocolate vienesse- 1.5 seconds
