The smell of petit pois cooking this evening invoked a feeling of nostalgia I couldn't put my finger on.

"Vagina.

My birth day."

That would be amniotic fluid.

Something I didn't like about childbirth was warm amniotic fluid smell.

your wildest dreams,

I buy a new perfume to wear, whenever I go away somewhere different. It then always brings back memories of that time/place

A song; "Inside" by Moby

Takes me back to a night on holiday in France, not a cloud in the sky, more stars than I've ever seen in my life; all while floating on lilo's in a swimmimg pool with my kids, with that song playing. Couldn't have been a better song for that moment.

The most ethereal experience of my life and that tune takes me back there every time I hear it. 🎵🎶🌌❤️

Derby

The smell of freshly cut grass always reminds me of the cricket season when I used to play in the Summer.

And in that same vein, when I played my first ever senior men's match, I got 4 wickets and Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield was stuck in my head the whole time I was fielding so now that's the memory I associate with that song 😂

Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, the second I smell that I'm back in the late 60s with my brothers and our dad. We used to go on it a lot & I took my kids when they were young. That smell is a reminder of happy times.

Fresh cut grass reminds me of my youth.

There was a grocers shop, near where I grew up, with sacks of coffee beans. I love the smell of the beans, just not the taste of ground coffee.

a village near Haywards Heath in East Sussex

When I go to Cornwall and I smell the sea and the salt in the air and see the waves on the beach I am instantly taken back to childhood holidays with my parents and siblings. Parents are gone some years but the memories are vivid .
