What is the one item every junk drawer must have to be a real junk drawer?

I'll start, a battery which you're unsure if it's good or bad!

Always the way 🤣 I'm sure one of the plugs was for my old Christmas tree from about 5 years ago. I got rid of the tree because I couldn't find the plug

"Bits of plastic that look important but no one knows what they are or where they came from"

Brilliant. I definitely have one of them, although to the trained eye it looks like a battery cover from something as the home is there for perhaps a mini screw to go in. But yes, I definitely have one of them and the whole SIM card 'wallet' thing. No SIM.
