"I read a fun thing about it where they said that how nowadays many think that love is a one night stand. What is your view about it,.do you agree with it and what love is? I dont totally agree with it, because love is so much more than a one night stand, to me a one night stand is just about sex and not love, true love is so much more, it involves a deep emotional and intellectual connection that goes beyond physical attraction too "I can't wrap my head around that. Love means so much more. I only ever had fwb's, until I had a "one night stand" (spoiler alert), we got married. Sex was THE best, but I certainly didn't love him after that first night. "I think it's a bit sad; yes, I'm a romantic at heart but I don't think you can fall in love so quickly. When someone rushes in to something, they fuck a few times and the next minute they're wanting babies, engaged, all of that... it's not real in my mind. It rarely lasts (obviously sometimes it does!). I think love is something that grows. When you see someone for all they are and still choose them. It's not the instant fireworks of lust and limerence, more the slow burning warmth of a log fire in a cosy cabin. You can like the idea of being in love with someone, without actually loving them.
