If all you have is one or two vague, uninspiring photos and the next guy has a variety of creative images, who do you think will appeal to others more? Likewise with profile text. I've seen thousands of profiles over the last 17 years. Many are just carbon copies using the same few lines with little personality. As for your last question? None. Why do I need to go through all that effort of message ping pong to just to find out the basics.
