Rude about their OH

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I have read a number of profiles over my time here and have found that SOME married men are quite rude about their wives as a reason for looking elsewhere for fun. Apart from the fact that I prefer not to meet married men, this alone would completely put me off meeting them. How do others feel? Would it put you off if someone attached was insulting about their OH in their profile (male or female)?

I find the bleating about the sexual failings of an absent partner makes me want to bring up my last meal...

do what you do, but leave your partner with at least crumbs of dignity

Just so long as I never had to meet their OHs.... no!

But in all seriousness, yes it would put me off. If someone can publicly display disrespect like that, they are not someone Id like to meet

I certainly wouldn't meet them

If they feel they need to be rude about their partner in order to justify what they are doing - it shows them for what they really are

Oh and I feel sorry for the poor person sitting at home waiting for them

Got to agree with all above comments - not a very attractive trait at all - wouldn't knowingly meet a cheat and to disrespect their partner is just shoddy. Z

I agree and wouldn't meet them either! I find it unbelievable when men say they're love their OH but obviously think it's ok to cheat on them by being on a swinging site! I've actually read one profile where the man said he was genuine, honest but married!

It would put me off....but I dislike it both ways...

If we want to cheat (and im one of them), we shouldnt disrespect our OH's by saying about whatever is wrong with them in our profiles. Our profiles are about us not what is lacking in our marriages. Ive been asked before why Im here in messages when I first joined and I just told the truth but wouldnt put it in my profile

"rude about their wives in what way?"

Without directly quoting but something about how they are no good at sex, or don't have sex, or are frigid. That kind of thing.

I think that is a good way of putting it - shoddy.

its a no no with us, anyone of that ilk to us is lacking in self respect also..

if someone is so indiscreet about 'their OH', they are possibly going to be blabbing to others about any meets etc..

Some of the ones I have read don't just say they don't have sex, or whatever, but are actually abusive about their partners! I find it astounding! They once loved that person enough to marry them!

For me that is a rule in general - people who gossip about others are likely to gossip about me, not that there is anything interesting to gossip about

I expect what people do/say in relation to other people, whether it is good or bad, to be similar in relation to me. So I would not trust everybody with my closely guarded little secret

when i meet someone i dont realy want to hear about their other meets or their partners.

if i meet more than one man they sometimes talk to each other about other women they have met or their partners, i dont talk about my hubby though prefer to concentrate on the meet i am with.

I agree - it is actually quite rude. I would not stand for it.

I was more talking about reading profiles of people who have messaged me.
