when taking up a new activity do you make do with what you have or do you go out and buy all the gear to look the part?

i've got jodphurs and a riding hat that asnt sen the light of day for over a year (the crop might have though)

dacin shoes for Ceroc which i havent done for months

i went for 1 walk the other day and have gone out and bought new trainers and gel insoles to support my arches thinking i'm gonna turn into a marathon runner

I do my research first and get decent gears to start with, and upgrade later if and when I need or able to.

Well, i took up deep sea diving. But i only started off with a pair of shorts, so i couldn't go very deep!

If you wanted to start my sport and wanted all the gear it will cost you about 700 for the minimum

I'm always buying the gear, however Ian gets frustrated "not more wool"

Got brought a beautiful set of rosewood interchangeable needles and brought myself the matching set of crochet hooks.
