Somewhere In The Ether…

Changing the bedding 🙁

It’s just so time consuming with so little reward.

Multiple pillow cases - urgh! Then having to perform the inside-out duvet cover trick to get it on before fluffing it (and inevitably trying to retrieve the corners!)

And the bottom sheets which invariably always pop out from the opposite side under the mattress when one tucks in the near side…

😵‍💫😵‍💫

I quite like taking the car to the local hand car wash. The fellas there use multicoloured foam jet wash and it’s how I imagine a bukakke party would be with unicorn jizz 🦄

When I was a single dad with two kids it was ironing.

2 AM trying get school uniforms pressed.. 😑

I got a lady in… she loved doing it. Worth every pound.

It was just the ironing though - cleaning, washing, drying, shopping, homework… everything else I was fine with.

With working from home, kids having grown up and left and a more casual attire at work now (how did that happen? No one said anything, everyone just stopped wearing suits and stuff) I rarely iron much at all now

Booking travel arrangements/hotels when going away.

I don’t want to shop around for best deals/times/location. I want someone to do the leg work for me so all I have to do is get on the plane, have a gin and tonic and relax knowing everything is taken care of.

This. I quite like looking for days out options but flights, accommodation or any other transport is rubbish. Annoyingly time consuming.

Similar to this. I use Airbnb lots

Airbnb is shite to use

That is my quandry. I like what I find on Airbnb, I detest finding it.

Id pay for someone to do that.

Putting the recycling out each week.

I usually forget.

Good job I live alone and don't amass too much as I can generally cope with it going out every three weeks with the wheelie bin. 🤷‍♂️

All things food related. Deciding what to eat, the sinking feeling when I realise I have to venture into a shop to buy the ingredients, throwing them together to form something vaguely edible... Just, ugh.

I'll happily fold and put away laundry for hours.

I would rather wash than load/unload a dishwasher. I’m terrible at loading the dishwasher so I end up having to was everything after anyway

Namely cleaning things…
