How do your sheets compare with hotelsl sheets?

I don't iron stuff anymore , so don't have sheets that compare too favourably

I find hotel sheets to feel like the collar on a fresh shirt. A bit rigid!

Hoping in the just the dry cleaning and nothing else!

I guess some places might still starch. I never have

Same, also think there maybe something in the fact that they are usually done on mass. Not much delicacy in the process maybe?

Who knows, I’m no expert. I just love my own bed 😂

Our sheets are better than any hotel. Super King size bed and expensive bedding. We spend a lot of time in it so it’s gotta be the best.

The best Egyptian cotton. I spend a lot of time in my bed, often with very special people - My bed / mattress / bedding cost more than my last car !

Tonypandy.

Treated myself to some good quality sheets recently, and definitely feel nicer. Also got nice fluffy duvet cover.

I take a sleeping bag into a hotel.

Saves me fannying about with sheets.

Worked hospitality at 3 and 5 star. I just prefer getting in bed freshly showered and clean. So many go to bed without haven taken a shower.. that's more disgusting than sheet thread counts

Fine cotton sheets in scarlet or teal. Bohemian duvet cover with elephants. Pillows with rainbow covers, or red silk.

No hotel bedding even approaches Chez Polly.

To me hotel bedding always smells very slightly of vinegar.

Much rather give a hotel sheet a soaking than my own.

Living in hotels most of the time, I now try and match my sheets and the way they wash them for my home.

Hotel 230 at dunelm is the best, 100% cotton. Now to wash them which is key, is to use Jantex on a 40 degree.

I cannot sleep unless it’s like that, I’m nuts really. Also at work I can spend up to £268 (+£80 if London) on a hotel room a night, yet I’ll always book a premier inn as I find their beds are consistent and can sleep. Plus their breakfasts are the best, unless near a Toby carvery.

City Centre

I use brushed cotton in the winter months, it just feels heavenly against my skin and so snug. In the summer a cotton sheet and a light duvet if the night gets cooler.

I find hotel sheets too stiff and a lot of the time quite rough. First thing I do in a hotel is untuck the bed otherwise I feel like I'm being restrained when I get into it.

your wildest dreams,

For me, the important thing is sheets that don’t move around. Drives me crazy. I always use sheet suspenders.
