I think the slight criticism that may be fair, is that during all that hedonistic haze, we may have ever just slightly dropped the ball on a few minor things like the environment, NHS, education, water, energy, employment rights, pensions and well just the economy generally that kind of thing. Erm. I remember having a black and white telly with buttons to press on the front! I think the phrase was "we woz poor" "We were dirt poor - my father was an alcoholic and we moved every few months. The bailiffs were often at the door. I've worked hard to never be in that situation again I do have fond memories of the telly tho..we weren't allowed to watch ITV, because that was too corrupting
