I get women get plagued with messages all the time saying fancy a fuck and that weens them off.

Also, as in the dating world, men say yes to pretty much any chat with a woman for the chat and attention, even if they'd not fuck them in any shape or form. Even if they would fuck them, that is it, just a quick fuck.

So naturally it leads to SOME women thinking oh shit, I'm hot, when actually a proportion of people wouldn't give them any normal time of day.

If this is about rejection there’s nothing you can do about it. You’re either someone’s type or you’re not. If it’s causing problems with self esteem and you’re venting then take some time away. It doesn’t make people up their own arse if they say no or change their mind.

If however this is about some of the profiles on here that are extremely conceited I’d much rather they put it on their bio. It’s a filter and it saves time and energy.

I opened a thread looking for a single man for a fantasy of mine yesterday and had it closed down by admin within a few hours. Yes, it was specific, but why shouldn't it be, if it’s my fantasy. However, lots of people took that as a reason to turn into cretins.

I had messages from men who were outside of what I’d asked for (age, distance, smokers, build etc) and I politely turned them down.

Then on the forum they started discussing how I was up my own arse for daring to a) say no to them b) general disparaging comments (i’d swerve this lads etc) and c) some outright nastiness.

Too many men on here think a message or request is simply a guaranteed ticket to action and woe betide anyone who says no.

I understand women and couples can be as equally horrible but that one experience yesterday will put me off for ever more proactively seeking out a single man on here.

99% of women and couples I have met while going to various different clubs, have been really lovely.

It's much harder online and some people may come across as up their own arse, when they are not. but you do get the odd, women, couple, or guy that think they are God's Gift.

I think it may be you.

It may on the surface appear that women get disproportionate attention, and in some senses they do. However, a lot of that attention is unwanted or turns nasty quickly. I don't think it is conducive to developing a conceited attitude or over-inflated self-image.
